Journalist Mkrtich Karapetyan is dissatisfied with the work of a journalist and their access to information in the new government.
“One and a half years have passed since the revolution, but we are still getting information from the state register and the cadastre for money. I can say that the main issues of the past remain,” he said.
According to him, the most closed-off state structure is the Ministry of Defense. He is convinced that the media in different government agencies now have more sources than before.
“The supervision over the activities of state bodies has increased, they are being watched under a microscope.”
Mkrtich agrees that there is a war between traditional media and social networks. “Every criminal case strikes and a person has to defend themselves both in the media and on the web.”
