The TV and Radio Commission has published the ratings of the most-watched TV programs in the first quarter of 2020.

The list of news programs is headed by Armenia TV’s “Zham” news agency, Shant’s “Horizon” is in the second place, and “Public News” is in the third place.

The media of Kentron TV and Yerkir Media are in the 7th and 8th places, ahead of them are the news programs of ATV and H2.

The official news was mostly watched on Shant TV. TV viewers were interested in the special sitting of the National Assembly, the special sitting of the Government and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s speech at the special sitting of the National Assembly.

The top spot for the category of talk show and political programs is occupied by Public Television and has four programs in the top five: “Public Discussion” is the most-watched program, which lags behind ATV’s “Semi-Open Windows.”

The best talk show on the list of political programs after Public TV is Armnews, which has three such programs.

With documentaries, Public TV is once again the leader. The list also includes films by Kentron and Armenia TV.

Sports content is especially diverse in terms of views. Kentron, Hanrayin, Armenia, and Shant TV have provided competitive sports programs to the audience over the past three months.

The most-watched feature films were shown on Armenia TV. Films on Public TV are watched less.

Armenia and Shant TV companies are competing with each other in TV series now as they have before. The leader is Armenia with the local series “Born Without An Address” and “Shiraz’s Rose.”

The leader of the entertainment programs is Armenia TV’s “There are no brides,” closely followed by Shant’s “Women’s Club.” The most humorous and entertaining content is on Armenia TV.

The same goes for the music and entertainment category. Shant is Armenia’s main rival here.

The program “Mama’s Cooking is Different” is the most popular culinary show, which Armenia lags behind with “Taste of the World” and Public TV’s “Let’s Cook Together” programs.

The leader of children’s content is Public TV, as they put very interesting cartoons with Armenian translations on the air.
