Lori TV Chief Editor’s Car Set on Fire

The car belonging to Lori TV chief editor Narine Avetisyan was set on fire on the night of Jan. 16.

On the morning of Jan. 17, Avetisyan, on her way to work, found the car burnt in her garage. Found on the car was a piece of cloth and evidence of flammable material. It later became known that the oiled cloth was thrown on the car from a vent above, from where the unknown perpetrators also poured the flammable liquid. Footprints were also found on the snow-covered garage roof.

The editor doesn’t consider the act to be a personal vendetta, nor can she connect it with her work in the media.

In the last 5 years, this is the third time that damage has been inflicted on Narine Avetisyan.

A criminal case has been filed with the Lori marz (province) Vanadzor division at the Internal Affairs office.
