Assistant Administrator for USAID’s Bureau for Europe and Eurasia, Brock Bierman is a journalist by profession. He tells us about how during his years in university, he learned how to study facts deeply and present them in an analytical way without any personal opinion, enabling people to rely on them and make their own decisions.
“I think that in the field of politics, it has helped me to communicate with people, to tell them the truth about what we and and cannot do,” said Brock Bierman.
During a meeting with Armenian Prime Minister, Nikol Pashinyan, Brock Bierman discussed what the USAID can do to help Armenia to succeed. Aside from that, Pashinyan showed Bierman the benefits of broadcasting live on Facebook.
“The Prime Minister helped me to discover Facebook live… I have never done Facebook live before I got to Armenia, so I have to thank the Prime Minister for actually helping me communicate in this way,” said Brock Bierman, sharing his impressions.
