About The Armenia Project (TAP):

The Armenia Project (TAP) is an educational non-profit that’s building a strategic
communications ecosystem for Armenia to more effectively share its real story with the
international community. TAP’s core areas of focus are impactful storytelling about Armenia’s
growing economy, its culture and tourism; facilitating media travel from across the globe to see,
experience and report on Armenia firsthand; and investing in young journalists and media
professionals, both in-country and from abroad.

What to Expect:

Hands-On Experience: Engage in real-world assignments that challenge your creativity and
problem-solving skills.

Expert Insights: Interact with local and international experts who will share their insights and
experience in the field. This includes a unique mentorship opportunity after the workshop with

TAP professionals accustomed to engaging international audiences.
Multimedia Proficiency: Master your skills in photography, videography, and writing, cultivating

Workshop Highlights:

Duration: Five days of immersive training, plus a final presentation day.
Location: Yerevan, Kapan, Meghri
Dates: October 3-7, 2023 (attendance in all days is mandatory)
Structure: The first two days will be held in Yerevan, introducing you to fellow participants and
local, international experts.
Commitment: Participants should be willing to dedicate 5 days to the workshop, including 3
overnight days in Kapan. On the 6th day, participants will present the results of the workshop.

Participant Requirements:

To ensure a fruitful learning experience and productive collaboration, we are looking for
participants who meet the following criteria:

Writing and Multimedia: A strong willingness and commitment to create written and multimedia
stories tailored for international media outlets.
Language Skills: Proficiency in English is essential. Knowledge of additional foreign languages
will be considered a valuable asset.
Local Storytelling experience: Having previously created stories for local media platforms is a
plus.
