“Human Stories Are The Backbone Of Media”

Gegham Vardanyan

Physicist by education, journalist by occupation

Olga Rudenko, the editor-in-chief of the Ukrainian English-language website The Kyiv Independent, talks about the internal and external struggles of journalists during the war. The environment and conditions in which Ukrainian journalists live and work.

The media is trying to keep the war atrocities in the center of attention, which have been happening in front of everyone’s eyes for months, and the audience is fed up and tired of war news and stonewalling information.

Olga Rudenko is sure that the only way to resist propaganda and indifference is truthfully substantiated stories.
