The Tvapatum media conference of the Media Initiatives Center will change its format in 2020, responding to the events and conditions. We will try to help journalists overcome the aftermath of the war through professional discussions and getting acquainted with the experience of colleagues.

The Tvapatum․ Aftershock 2020 will be held through online talks, discussions, film screenings. Within these meetings and discussions, the core topic is the coverage of conflicts in different parts of the world, the experience of journalists from different countries, the stories they have created, which have drawn the audience’s attention to the tragedies of human life.

Professionals from the United States, Belgium, New Zealand, Egypt, the United Kingdom, Israel, Armenia, and a number of other countries will discuss crisis and conflict coverage, including journalists’ safety and security, professional ethics, fact-checking and working with sources, open and closed data, innovative approach, tools and other aspects.

The Tvapatum. Aftershock series starts in December and will continue until the end of February.
