The Yes Headquarters had announced a tender for the logo of Constitutional Referendum to be conducted on April 5, 2020. The winner was awarded with 3 million AMD, and the logo design was presented at the referendum campaign fundraising gala of Civil Contract party.

The next day, Facebook was bursting with claims that the Yes-2020  logo was plagiarized from the Independence Referendum logo published in one of the Yerevan-based newspapers in 1991.

The above-mentioned logo was published in Yerekoyan Yerevan, on September 23. We published the photo of that edition on September 20, 2016, in an article called 1991: The Howl will no longer torment us.

On September 18, Yerekoyan Yerevan published another version of the Yes logo for the Independence Referendum. This one can also grab the attention of those claiming that the Yes logo has been plagiarized. We published this logo on September 19, 2016, in an article called The Yes of Armenia’s Independence.

Taking into account the public interest in the logos published in Yerekoyan Yerevan in 1991, we decided to publish the photos of those editions.
