Ukrainian TV station TSN on June 13 posted a video on YouTube that was filmed in the French city of Lille on the occasion of UEFA Euro 2016.
The TV station’s reporter asked Kyiv mayor Vitali Klitschko why his wife didn’t come with him to France to watch the matches.
“Well, the children had exams at school. I wanted to… She couldn’t… They were preparing,” Klitschko replied, adding, “Regarding private life, questions about family, I would participate in a [TV] broadcast on family life with great pleasure.”
Klitschko’s wife, Natalia Klitschko (née Egorova), is a former athlete and model. They have two sons and a daughter.
Then the journalist asks the Kyiv mayor whether he listened to his wife’s album released in Germany. Instead of replying, Klitschko asks:
“Can I kiss you? I really want to kiss you. I will kiss you every time,” and without waiting for an answer, he kissed the young reporter.
Perhaps there’s no ready formula on how a journalist should act in such situations. What would you do?
