British tech-journalist Monty Manford was the keynote speaker at the WCIT conference in Yerevan.
He is convinced that if Armenia really wants to become a technology hub, besides the ecosystem it provides, it should think about organizing regular meetings with investors, entrepreneurs, journalists and IT companies. Also, have a good airport.
“I think tech journalism is trying to shine the light on things that aren’t seen. it’s a little bit like being a travel journalist. I’ve always tried to find stories that aren’t in the mainstream, ”he said.
