Journalists from all 46 countries of Europe as defined by the Council of Europe and Belarus and Russia are eligible to enter their work. Journalists with a European nationality, working on the European continent, and journalists working for a European media organisation or outlet can submit their work for European Press Prize 2026.
The work submitted must have a publication date between December 1, 2024 and December 31, 2025.
