Ruben Mehrabyan, the editor of the Aravot Russian section, felt the signs of a “hybrid war” a long time ago.
He says that when Russia decided to spend tremendous amounts on neo-imperial propaganda, Russian money and thematic “markers” circulated in our media field.
Ruben Mehrabyan lists those topics that create an atmosphere of “toxic, smelly” atmosphere, which play a role of an “infection” in our media and social networks, infecting the news flow.
“This is a war, which does not require heroism, but requires no participation in humiliation,” he said.
According to Ruben Mehrabyan, the “embarrassing slowness” of the agencies is also gets in the way of Armenia’s international reputation, when websites are not updated on a regular basis.
