She sustained bodily injuries.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.azatutyun.am\/a\/29183830.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">video<\/a> released by RFE\/RL clearly shows the face of the person who hit the journalist, as well as the fact that one of the passers-by warned the journalist that she was bleeding from her ear.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Arus Hakobyan stated during the RFE\/RL broadcast that police officers were present during the incident and did not do anything to prevent the act of violence. Journalist appeals to policemen were not responded to. All this is also apparent in the video.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The journalist was subjected to violence when a few men gathered to ask a person why they were taking pictures. In response to the journalist asking one of the men the question, \u201cwho are you?\u201d the man hit the camera and the journalist saying \u201cget that thing away from here.\u201d<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Arus Hakobyan approaches one of the officers nearby, her questions and appeals were left unanswered.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cPolice officers, don\u2019t you see that they are hitting people? Why aren\u2019t you stopping them on the spot?\u201d It seemed that the police were not listening to the journalist\u2019s question as they turned and walked away.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Another policeman approached and insisted, \u201cget out of the way.\u201d The journalist asked \u201cand when they hit people, you don\u2019t see anything?\u201d The police once again turned away and left.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">In one episode, two police officers are seen, of which one urges the other to secure the journalist\u2019s safety, but when the journalist stated \u201cmy safety has already been endangered, because they have already hit me and you didn\u2019t do anything,\u201d they left without giving a reaction.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">RFE\/RL <a href=\"https:\/\/www.azatutyun.am\/a\/29183830.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">announced<\/a> that the person who hit Arus Hakobyan is the director of the Artashat Water Usage Association, Arthur Ghazaryan.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Yesterday, during a protest at the Nor-Norq administrative district, Lriagir.am journalist <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lragir.am\/index\/arm\/0\/videos\/view\/174557\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tehmine Yenokyan was also subjected to violence<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">A young man hit the journalist in the head, interfered with the journalist\u2019s work, one of the women present pulled the journalist\u2019s hair, and another tore off the straps of her bag.<\/p>\n<p class=\"rteright\" dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Anahit Danielyan<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>RFE\/RL \u201cAzatutyun\u201d correspondent Arus Hakoyan had been subjected to violence by individuals wearing civilian clothing, while she was covering the Take A Step, Reject Serzh protests in a live broadcast, near the city of Artashat.
