Head of the International Sales Team at Mail.ru Group Ekaterina Eroshenko <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=ykN7j5TG5Ls\">made this statement<\/a> at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.barcamp.am\/\">BarCamp Yerevan 2017<\/a>. According to her, in Armenia\u2019s market, Mail.ru and Vkontakte are in fifth and sixth place, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>In Russia, according to Eroshenko, it\u2019s the opposite: in first place is Vkontakte; in second, Odnoklassniki. However, people in Russia watch videos more often through Odnoklassniki.<\/p>\n<p>To collect and present the data, Eroshenko made use of Mail.ru Group\u2019s internal data, as well as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.similarweb.com\/\">SimilarWeb<\/a>\u2019s open data.<\/p>\n<p>In Armenia, email users (people who log in to their email at least once a month) number around 4 million monthly.<\/p>\n<p>Unlike in Russia, the majority of online users in Armenia are men. \u201cThe ratio of men to women is 60\/40,\u201d said Eroshenko.<\/p>\n<p>According to her, using the internet the most in Armenia are 25\u201330 year-olds, followed by 19\u201324 year-olds. Spending the least amount of time online are children under 13 and 41\u201350 year-olds.<\/p>\n<p>The number of people using computers to get online is currently greater than those accessing the internet on their phones, Eroshenko said.
