Angela Khachatryan has been with the newspaper <em>Zhamanak<\/em> and the news site 1in.am since their founding. Sona Minasyan worked at the newspaper <em>Yerkir<\/em> and Shant TV.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#B22222\"><strong>ELQ<\/strong><\/span> bloc\u2019s national list includes former chief editor of <em>Haykakan Zhamanak<\/em> (Armenian Times) Nikol Pashinyan; former journalist of the same paper Vahagn Hovakimyan; former Hetq journalist Lena Nazaryan; Araratnews.am and <em>Ararat <\/em>editor Alen Simonyan; Disabilityinfo.am founder and editor Zaruhi Batoyan; novelist and former journalist of daily paper <em>Hraparak<\/em> Hambardzum Hambardzumyan; and former journalist with Shant and Yerkir Media TV stations Srbuhi Grigoryan.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong><span style=\"color:#B22222\">election bloc led by Gagik Tsarukyan\u2019s Prosperous Armenia<\/span> <\/strong>party proportional list includes former <em>Haykakan Zhamanak<\/em> (Armenian Times) journalist Naira Zohrabyan, and former Kentron TV journalist and Tsarukyan\u2019s spokesperson Iveta Tonoyan.<\/p>\n<p>On the Tsarukyan bloc\u2019s national list are also former chief editor of Lurer.com, and founder of several sites and of newspaper <em>Past<\/em> (Fact) Varuzhan Babajanyan.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong><span style=\"color:#B22222\">Armenian National Congress\u2013People\u2019s Party of Armenia<\/span> <\/strong>bloc\u2019s list includes former <em>Chorrord Ishkhanutyun<\/em> newspaper journalist and photojournalist Ani Gevorgyan, as well as journalist and scriptwriter Tigran Paskevichyan.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong><span style=\"color:#B22222\">Armenian Renaissance<\/span> <\/strong>party\u2019s national list includes former journalists Mher Shahgeldyan and Artur Baghdasaryan, as well as creator and host of the H3 TV political program \u201cIrakan Hayatsq\u201d (Real Look) Edgar Araqelyan.<\/p>\n<p>The <span style=\"color:#B22222\"><strong>Armenian Revolutionary Federation<\/strong><\/span> (Dashnaktsutyun) list includes former chief editor of newspaper <em>Yerkir<\/em> Aghvan Vardanyan, former director of the Public Radio program \u201cKamurj\u201d (Bridge) Ruzan Araqelyan, and Yerkir Media TV journalist Lilit Manukyan.<\/p>\n<p>The ARF list also offers as MP candidates former chief editor of the official newspaper of the ARF Supreme Council of Armenia <em>Yerkir<\/em> Spartak Seyranyan, and correspondent of the ARF\u2019s official newspapers and publications in the 90s Artyusha Shahbazyan.<\/p>\n<p>Number five on the <span style=\"color:#B22222\"><strong>Republican Party of Armenia<\/strong><\/span> (HHK) proportional list is culture minister Armen Amiryan, formerly one of the most popular figures of Armenian television. He hosted youth, news, political, musical, and entertainment programs on Armenian state television. From 1997 to 2015, he was the executive director of the Public Radio of Armenia.<\/p>\n<p>For the second time, former <em>Aravot<\/em> newspaper journalist Margarit Yesayan\u2019s name has made it to the HHK list.<\/p>\n<p>Former director of the Public TV\u2019s news department Samvel Farmanyan likewise may once again appear in the next parliament. He is #9 on the HHK proportional list.<\/p>\n<p>After launching and hosting the political program \u201cYerankyuni\u201d (Triangle) on Public TV, former education minister Armen Ashotyan, who is #6 on his party\u2019s proportional list, likewise obtained the right to be on our list of journalists.<\/p>\n<p>Among the HHK ranks is also former journalist with Armenpress agency Shushan Sardaryan.<\/p>\n<p>HHK offers&nbsp;also former editor of newspaper <em>Iravunq<\/em> Hayk Babukhanyan and <a href=\"\/en\/Arman-Saghatelyan-Public-radio-director\">Public Radio of Armenia Executive Director Arman Saghatelyan<\/a>\u2019s candidacy.<\/p>\n<p>The <span style=\"color:#B22222\"><strong>Ohanian-Raffi-Oskanian election bloc<\/strong><\/span>\u2019s national list includes 7or.am journalist Aregnaz Manukyan.<\/p>\n<p>Only the <span style=\"color:#B22222\"><strong>Armen\u00adian Communist Party<\/strong><\/span> national list has no journalists.<\/p>\n<p class=\"rteright\"><strong>Gagik Aghbalyan<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#B22222\"><strong>P.S.<\/strong><\/span> Our list may be incomplete.
