Much later I discovered that people on the street are more interesting \u2014 especially during demonstrations, marches, and rallies.&#8221;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Narek Aleksanyan\" src=\"https:\/\/farm9.staticflickr.com\/8584\/16841935601_df3d163637.jpg\" style=\"display:block; margin-left:auto; margin-right:auto; width:100%\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;In terms of objectivity, I don&#8217;t think there&#8217;s a big difference between photos and text. Just as you can adapt a piece of text to your point of view, you can express your point of view through a photograph. For example, once there was a <a href=\"http:\/\/hetq.am\/arm\/news\/30046\/ert-genderayin-havasarutyan-dem-lusankarner.html\" style=\"line-height: 20.3999996185303px;\">march in Yerevan against the gender equality law<\/a>, and the majority of my photographer colleagues didn&#8217;t photograph it.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/z3laE2d9FeE\" width=\"853\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;In my opinion, that march was a demonstration of homophobia, and I expressed my opinion through my photos. There were discussions as a result of [my] photo reportage, and many criticized those who were issuing misanthropic calls.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Narek Aleksanyan\" src=\"https:\/\/farm8.staticflickr.com\/7650\/16223054173_b49e3c6954.jpg\" style=\"display:block; margin-left:auto; margin-right:auto; width:100%\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;During rallies, my contact with police officers is limited \u2014 I avoid getting into clashes with them. The priority for me is getting the necessary shots.
