According to the Prime Minister, as of March 19, 3,250 victims are officially known, another 189 families are waiting for answers to DNA tests.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Some politicians <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=286i7ixJ57w&amp;ab_channel=Politik.am\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">sound<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> a number that is really unverified and that exceeds the official data by several times. However, the number voiced by Pashinyan also contradicts the number of officially announced victims.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Back in February, the Ministry of Health <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/infocheck.am\/am\/posts\/579?fbclid=IwAR0B47uRBRld_rnEAN2etpR1HaGkr1X5o8XAOBzKK3EGjndXQMV7WMMYzBE\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">announced<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> 3,577 dead. And on March 15, the Artsakh Defense Army <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nkrmil.am\/news\/view\/3215\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">published<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> the names of another 96 killed servicemen. Thus, as of March 19, the number of officially known victims exceeded what the Prime Minister had announced.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The hunt was not in Artsakh but in the northern region of Azerbaijan<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">On March 26, the Armenian press reported that &#8220;Arab sheiks are hunting in Artsakh.&#8221; Articles with such a title were published by <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/lurer.com\/?p=411672&amp;l=am\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">lurer.com<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=u5z6NWaHZiw&amp;ab_channel=%D0%98%D0%BD%D1%84%D0%BE%D1%82%D0%B5%D0%BA%D0%B024\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u0418\u043d\u0444\u043e\u0442\u0435\u043a\u0430 24<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/asekose.am\/ru\/post\/arab-seyxere-ors-en-anoum-arcaxoum\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">asekose.am<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and other news outlets.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The news was wrong, Arab tourists hunted not in Artsakh, but in the northern Kak\u0570 region of Azerbaijan. The published <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/jam-news.net\/arab-tourists-in-azerbaijan-continue-hunting-endangered-birds-despite-recent-scandal-authorities-silent\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">photos<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> showed the hunters with a killed crane. The photos <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/cavidaga\/status\/1373262884952752130?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">were widely spread<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> on Azerbaijani social networks and angered users and environmentalists.<\/span> <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-27079 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/media.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/arab-hunters.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"653\" height=\"464\" srcset=\"https:\/\/media.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/arab-hunters.jpg 653w, https:\/\/media.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/arab-hunters-300x213.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 653px) 100vw, 653px\" \/><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Swiss benefactor was convinced that Western forces were behind the Armenian government<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The conspiratorial allegations of the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/watch\/?v=801588044043138\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">interview<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> of the benefactor Teresa Mkhitaryan to &#8220;Yerkir Media&#8221; TV channel <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/hayelihakablog\/videos\/309572683834741\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">were spread on social networks<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Mkhitaryan believed that nothing happens by chance, and behind everything, there are &#8220;forces&#8221; &#8211; the Western globalists. According to her, these forces are also behind the Armenian government (in particular, the British, US embassies and the &#8220;Soros Office&#8221;).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Mkhitaryan was convinced that in Armenia &#8220;Soros, globalists and Western forces&#8221; make people &#8220;idiots&#8221; through the media. After that, people are given the &#8220;legalized drug&#8221; by the globalists. Mkhitaryan thought that &#8220;they give orders from outside&#8221; to grow marijuana in Armenia.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">To prove her claims, Mkhitaryan submitted a list of media funded by the OSF Armenia Foundation. That list, however, consisted largely of the names of civic initiatives and NGOs. Information on OSF-funded projects is open: It <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.osf.am\/about-company\/grants-lists\/?lang=am\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">can be found<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> on the foundation&#8217;s website.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Despite the belief that the &#8220;forces&#8221; of the West have committed many atrocities, Mkhitaryan <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/teresa.mkh\/about\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">lives<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> in one of the richest countries in the West, Switzerland.<\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_27081\" style=\"width: 701px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-27081\" class=\"wp-image-27081 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/media.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/tereza-mkhitaryan.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"691\" height=\"382\" srcset=\"https:\/\/media.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/tereza-mkhitaryan.jpg 691w, https:\/\/media.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/tereza-mkhitaryan-300x166.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 691px) 100vw, 691px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-27081\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Teresa Mkhitaryan<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">No Armenian driver was killed on the Georgian-Russian border<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">On March 23, the Russian &#8220;\u0422\u0435\u043b\u0435\u043a\u0430\u043d\u0430\u043b 360&#8221; <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=dvSn2wqqYAY&amp;ab_channel=%D0%A2%D0%B5%D0%BB%D0%B5%D0%BA%D0%B0%D0%BD%D0%B0%D0%BB360\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">reported<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> that a fight took place between truck drivers on the Georgian-Russian border, and a Turkish driver killed an Armenian. The information <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.panorama.am\/am\/news\/2021\/03\/24\/%D5%A2%D5%A5%D5%BC%D5%B6%D5%A1%D5%BF%D5%A1%D6%80%D5%AB-%D5%A9%D5%B8%D6%82%D6%80%D6%84-%D5%BE%D5%A1%D6%80%D5%B8%D6%80%D5%A4\/2474533\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">was also spread<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> in the Armenian press.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The next day, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that the information had not been confirmed. &#8220;The diplomatic missions of the Republic of Armenia in Georgia and Rostov have contacted the relevant bodies of those countries and that information has not been confirmed,&#8221; Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Anna Naghdalyan <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/armeniasputnik.am\/society\/20210324\/26910423\/vrac-rusakan-sahmanin-hay-varord-chi-spanvel.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">told<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Sputnik Armenia.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The deputy denied the false information spread from the fake page<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">On March 16, a Twitter page on behalf of Russian journalist Semyon Pegov <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/wargonzoo\/status\/1371775197146144769?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">reported<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> that the Turkish Foreign Minister had arrived in Armenia and was greeted by MP Arman Babajanyan. The post was accompanied <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.habervakti.com\/gundem\/turk-heyeti-yeni-zelanda-da-h65948.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">by a photo<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> from Mevlut Cavusoglu&#8217;s <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.aa.com.tr\/tr\/dunya\/fuat-oktay-ve-mevlut-cavusoglu-yeni-zelanda-da\/1420568\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">visit<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> to New Zealand in 2019.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Arman Babjanyan <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/babajanyana\/posts\/4163897566974272\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">referred to<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> the post and denied the information, accusing Pegov of targeting him.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The same day, the ArmVoice Telegram channel <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/armvoice\/3474\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">reported<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> that Pegov had denied the information and that he did not have a Twitter page.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A picture taken in Ukraine was presented as a photo of Baghramyan Avenue<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">On March 23, the opposition <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.azatutyun.am\/a\/31165420.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">opened<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Baghramyan Avenue, which had been closed for about a year. On the same day, Taron Chakhoyan, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister, posted a photo of a street covered with garbage on his Facebook page and wrote, &#8220;Baghramyan Avenue today.&#8221;\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The information was <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/100003646101853\/posts\/2144374542360728\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">incorrect<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. The photo did not show Baghramyan Avenue, but <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/ria-m.tv\/news\/98734\/goryi_musora_pod_nogami_kakim_ostavili_ulitsyi_posle_dnya_goroda_melitopoltsyi_(video).html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">one of the streets<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> in the Ukrainian city of Melitopol. Chakhoyan <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/taron.chakhoyan\/posts\/3844804448908323\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">removed<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> the information and apologized.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Ministry of Defense denied the news, although the evidence provided was accurate<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">On March 16, the Russian military news agency Anna News <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/anna_news\/12112\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">expressed indignation<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> over Armenia&#8217;s alleged participation in NATO military exercises. Anna News journalist Alexander Kharchenko wrote that Armenia participates in &#8220;anti-Russian exercises.&#8221;\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Ministry of Defense <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/armenpress.am\/arm\/news\/1046440\/?fbclid=IwAR0X7W98gA__wSJIvpfYGHpjqxLtDeV7d0Pz0hoUH6z-cqTM3Ysx5iMsPJU\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">denied<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> the information. In a conversation with Sputnik Armenia, the head of the Defense Policy Department of the Ministry of Defense Levon Aylvazyan <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/ru.armeniasputnik.am\/politics\/20210318\/26839182\/Armeniya-ne-budet-uchastvovat-v-ucheniyakh-NATO--Minoborony-oproverglo.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">called<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> the news &#8220;misinformation&#8221; and &#8220;gossip.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_27084\" style=\"width: 890px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-27084\" class=\"wp-image-27084 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/media.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/anna-news-nato.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"880\" height=\"530\" srcset=\"https:\/\/media.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/anna-news-nato.jpg 880w, https:\/\/media.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/anna-news-nato-300x181.jpg 300w, https:\/\/media.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/anna-news-nato-768x463.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 880px) 100vw, 880px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-27084\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Anna News\u2019 infographic<\/span><\/i><\/p><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Kharchenko substantiated the assertion with an infographic taken from the official website of the Defender-Europe 21 military exercise, where Armenia <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/joshuakucera\/status\/1372520348109967363?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">was really mentioned<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> as a participating country. Later the infographic <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.europeafrica.army.mil\/Portals\/19\/documents\/DEFENDEREurope\/DE21%20Infographic.pdf?ver=Gw-HqsgW6U2Ug_rILQQ5Ug%3d%3d\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">was updated<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and Armenia was removed from the list of participants.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The government denied the information about Hakob Arshakyan&#8217;s resignation<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The state website Infockeck.am <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/infocheck.am\/am\/posts\/601\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">denied<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> the news that BTA Minister Hakob Arshakyan had resigned. Soon, however, it was Arshakyan who <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/hakobarshakyanpage\/posts\/4564078536952152\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">announced<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> on his Facebook page that he was leaving his post.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">&#8220;As a citizen of the Republic of Armenia, I consider unacceptable the use of violence by an official against any citizen,&#8221; Arshakyan wrote, referring to the <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/media.am\/en\/newsroom\/2021\/03\/19\/26824\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">incident<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> with journalist Paylak Fahradyan.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Incomplete information on side effects of AstraZeneca was reported<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In the second half of March, unverified or incomplete information about the British-Swedish AstraZeneca vaccine <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.aravot.am\/2021\/03\/22\/1179032\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">continued to be spread<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">One of the reasons for the spread of such rumors was the cases of side effects registered in different countries. Neighboring Georgia registered an acute allergic reaction and death after vaccination.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Media.am <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/media.am\/en\/verified\/2021\/03\/19\/26832\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">spoke<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> in detail about what the side effects were and why the relevant bodies advise continuing to vaccinate with AstraZeneca.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Denials<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">? Matenadaran <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/facebook.com\/MashtotsMatenadaran\/posts\/924299388322134?fbclid=IwAR0B-h-FKQr0OPMGuWiXoSmtCK1i1NvY3qoZ34OX_osmymsEqge0dz9fH2s\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">denied<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> the information spread by Facebook user Vardan Ghukasyan that Arabic manuscripts had disappeared from the museum institute and were sold. Vardan Ghukasyan is a former police officer, who often makes scandalous Facebook posts. In January, Ghukasyan announced that the wife of the third president, Rita Sargsyan, had not actually died. Ghukasyan <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/media.am\/en\/verified\/2021\/01\/19\/25898\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">did not bring<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> any evidence to his allegations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">? Viva-MTS <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/itel.am\/am\/news\/12764\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">denied<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> the information circulating on the Internet that there was a leak from the company&#8217;s database.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">? At the end of March, information <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/amnew.site\/post\/4693\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">was spread<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> on the Internet that former Chief of Police Vladimir Gasparyan had died.
