We <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/media.am\/en\/verified\/2020\/09\/29\/24312\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">have already written<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> about the network that spreads misinformation with fake and hacked accounts. This time we have summarized the examples of the main fake accounts opened under the name of people who provide information about the war situation, and fake accounts of websites in the name of some media outlets.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Fake Facebook page of Public Television&#8217;s &#8220;Lurer&#8221;<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">On October 10, Public Television reported that a fake Facebook page with the logo of their news service had been opened.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/lurer1tv\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">real<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (\u2705) and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/haylurhayastan\/?__cft__[0]=AZWgnJ39_0LzbSNURMLZgueWnVnUQ8-KvytPqarImmCYHxUgLj01cQLXHkJZ_TVIifjDTjqXN1wPOptjh0rRevJWPjr490UXZZ0kkoFgjdstYwS5wKa-DYTfKR-MIaqSLW2___V6GGb3PN80RASqupXBck7B9Ihdyq12rlvk0YP7vCmo-24VjRxh8vizsHe0mw8&amp;__tn__=kK-R\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">fake<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (\u274c) accounts are quite easy to distinguish in this case. One of them was similar to the main <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/armeniafund.ejoinme.org\/donate?fbclid=IwAR0JhV-tbJB1F_6uXz5LWsj9wyRWaEHDTDeW521eMC42l1p3YlzDhseevOo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">platform<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> of the Pan-Armenian fundraising website.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">With the difference of one symbol (armeniafundejoinme.org, actually <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/armeniafund.ejoinme.org\/donate?fbclid=IwAR0JhV-tbJB1F_6uXz5LWsj9wyRWaEHDTDeW521eMC42l1p3YlzDhseevOo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">armeniafund.ejoinme.org<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">) a fake website was created. After entering here, a warning is given that the site is phishing. If you do not follow the warning and upon entering, personal data will be appropriated, and the transferred money will be in the hands of fraudsters.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A fake Twitter account in the name of the commander of the Artsakh Defense Army<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">On October 6, a fake Twitter account was opened in the name of Artsakh Defense Army Commander Jalal Harutyunyan. It <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Defence_Artsakh\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">does not exist<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> anymore.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">There are two fake Twitter accounts named after Shushan Stepanyan<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Defense Ministry spokeswoman Shushan Stepanyan opened a Twitter account in July this year. Her account handle is <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ShStepanyan?fbclid=IwAR2J3fS1SyD9fwmjVkF_eU93YvGv6aGzr2jtJgmYKq-JzN9fWkx6Bqoh8sU\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">@ShStepanyan<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. The account <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ShStepanyans?fbclid=IwAR2p12Rqf2dNTRUrv5gopMBdg9V4akAe5MTn-gGNnsdX7toGXb46qjHNirg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">@ShStepanyans<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, which has been operating since 2016, is currently available with one character difference. It spreads misinformation and shares real account publications.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This fake page is currently trolling, making calls to report the real page.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-24608 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/media.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Shushan-Stepanyan-stopErdogan-R.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"557\" height=\"386\" srcset=\"https:\/\/media.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Shushan-Stepanyan-stopErdogan-R.png 557w, https:\/\/media.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Shushan-Stepanyan-stopErdogan-R-300x208.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 557px) 100vw, 557px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">And the actual troll, as he <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/obabeyleri\/status\/1315257441739780097\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">confessed<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> on his page, is the account under the name of <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/obabeyleri\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">@obabeyleri<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> which was created in October.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Again, with only one character difference, there is also the account <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ShStepanjan\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">@ShStepanjan<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, the falsity of which is much easier to distinguish. It was created in October 2020, has a small following, and the posted content is Azerbaijani propaganda.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u2705<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ShStepanyan?fbclid=IwAR2J3fS1SyD9fwmjVkF_eU93YvGv6aGzr2jtJgmYKq-JzN9fWkx6Bqoh8sU\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">@ShStepanyan<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u274c<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ShStepanyans?fbclid=IwAR2p12Rqf2dNTRUrv5gopMBdg9V4akAe5MTn-gGNnsdX7toGXb46qjHNirg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">@ShStepanyanS<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u274c<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ShStepanjan\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">@ShStepanJan<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">False email address, TikTok and Instagram Accounts for Shushan Stepanyan<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ministry of Defense spokeswoman Shushan Stepanyan <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/shushanstepanyan\/posts\/3299011693468301\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">wrote<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> on October 4 that a fake email account, shushanstepanyan88@gmail.com had been opened in her name \u2024 Letters and messages are sent from this address. She reminded journalists that she sends the official letters of the Ministry of Defense only from the e-mail address of the department.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Two days later, on October 6, Stepanyan <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/shushanstepanyan\/posts\/3306196722749798\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">announced<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> that she had no pages on TikTok and Instagram. The fake Instagram account is no longer available.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Hraparak\u2019s fake Instagram page<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Media.am has already <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/media.am\/en\/verified\/2020\/09\/29\/24312\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">referred to<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> the fake page of Hraparak.am created on Instagram, hraparak_tv. The account, posing as a media outlet, asked its followers to &#8220;Take photos or videos of the events you encounter, send them to us for publication.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Most likely, the account is managed from Azerbaijan\u2024 It publishes information about allegedly killed high-ranking Armenian servicemen, occupied Armenian positions, and great losses. The page was created a few months ago but has started actively publishing during the recent Armenian-Azerbaijani clashes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The page also has a logo, which is sometimes placed on published photos. Its content was spread on two Facebook pages, which are no longer available.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">By the way, on October 8, Facebook <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/about.fb.com\/news\/2020\/10\/removing-coordinated-inauthentic-behavior-september-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">removed<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> 589 Azerbaijani accounts and 7,906 pages, and 447 Instagram accounts. They had been connected with unrealistic behavior. They were active during working days and hours in Azerbaijan time. The Facebook investigation connects this network with the youth union of the ruling &#8220;New Azerbaijan&#8221; party. They commented on local-regional news, including the escalation of Karabakh, praising Aliyev, his party, and criticizing the opposition.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.buzzfeednews.com\/article\/craigsilverman\/facebook-azerbaijan-troll-farm?fbclid=IwAR1QtXgmJXzrMG-w6BuXjTF86aFznYQAHEnc8V6f3kwZFceuhufCGUoGRLI\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Buzzfeednews.com<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> wrote on this occasion that Facebook had known about this network for about a year.
