This <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/ArmenianUnifiedInfoCenter\/posts\/794905644678698\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">was reported<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> by the Armenian Joint Information Center.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;Publications, dissemination, transfer of information related to hostilities, their directions, movement of military equipment, losses as a result of hostilities, informational materials, interviews, reports, and other pieces of information directly related to them, including on websites and social networks, are carried out. exclusively with reference to official information provided by state bodies, fully reflecting the official information (without editing).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now, this is the main restriction on the work of the media in Armenia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The RA Law on martial law <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.arlis.am\/DocumentView.aspx?docid=67147\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">envisages<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> the restriction of freedom of speech, as well as temporary confiscation or detention of printing equipment, radio broadcasters, amplifiers, reproduction equipment, special rules for accreditation of journalists, special rules for the use of means of communication.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/arlexis.am\/DocumentView.aspx?DocID=15039\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The law<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of the same name of the Artsakh Republic envisages a similar restriction.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The decree on declaring martial law in both Armenia and Artsakh is subject to immediate publication on television, radio, and in the press.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From now on, the Television and Radio Commission <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/tigran.hakobyan.31\/posts\/3388331074546408\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">will send<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> circulars to the e-mail addresses of the media, which will be useful for organizing the work in the conditions of martial law.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><b>Gayane Asryan<\/b><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>With martial law restrictions, the media can now publish only official information.
