Present at the award ceremony in Yerevan&#8217;s Hrazdan Hotel were Armenian media professionals, journalists, and representatives from international organizations and foreign embassies.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Karlen Qalashyan, one of this year&#8217;s winners, is not a journalist. For years he has been publishing articles in the print media. Qalashyan was awarded a special prize for his active civic position \u2014 for his cooperation with the press.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Radio Yerevan received an award for its effective combination of the news\/talk and music formats.<\/p>\n<p>ArmNews TV received an award for successful rebranding.<\/p>\n<p>For revealing new professional perspectives, PanArmenian Photo agency received the award named after YPC founder, famous photojournalist Ruben Mangasaryan.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ypc.am\/awards\/ln\/am\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><object height=\"350\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\" width=\"600\"><param name=\"data\" value=\"http:\/\/photopeach.com\/public\/swf\/story.swf\" \/><param name=\"allowscriptaccess\" value=\"always\" \/><param name=\"allowfullscreen\" value=\"true\" \/><param name=\"flashvars\" value=\"photos=http:\/\/photopeach.com%2Fapi%2Fgetphotos%3Falbum_id%3D114lot1&amp;autoplay=0&amp;embed=1\" \/><param name=\"src\" value=\"http:\/\/photopeach.com\/public\/swf\/story.swf\" \/><\/object><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Since 1998, the annual <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ypc.am\/awards\/ln\/en\">Yerevan Press Club awards<\/a> have been presented to Armenia&#8217;s best journalists, news outlets, and media organizations. The awards are usually distributed on July 18, the day YPC was founded.
