Actor, singer, poet Charles Aznavour\u2019s life  has long been a legend, where the story of a whole century was condensed, and death was unimaginable news. After all, legends should not die\u2026<\/p>\n

There was a feeling that the 94-year-old chansonnier, who was a revolutionary and at the same time a constant symbol of French art in the 20th century, had to live forever. He was a stage man, and was traveling around the globe all the time, building his concerts as a dialogue with himself. Charles Aznavour made songs about his life and feelings,  including those which were considered taboo (for example, he was one of the first who sang about homosexual love, about their happy and lonely Bohemian Parisians).<\/p>\n

He was the first and unconditionally accepted person who made Armenia a recognizable word.<\/p>\n

Aznavour is an introductory code for every Armenian. And not only because of  his charity programs, the power to voice the diplomatic work and internal problems of the Republic of Armenia, but also as a symbol of identity, a personal identification card.<\/p>\n

For several decades, his name has helped millions of Armenians in different contacts to explain what Armenia is an where it is. Armenia is where Aznavour came from\u2026<\/p>\n

The world knew it and placed us in a radius of the great artist\u2019s life and investment, where it was comfortable, pleasant and remarkable.<\/p>\n

And now, the world is mourning.<\/p>\n
