The pages of the “Republic of Armenia” newspaper cover the exterior of a shop located on one of the busiest streets in Yerevan.
Now the inside of the store is invisible but legible.
Passers-by are not indifferent to the storefronts, looking at the pages of the newspaper and remembering that there was a time when it was necessary to read printed newspapers in order to get the news.
The latest media consumption survey conducted among 1,200 citizens of Yerevan and regions shows that television (72%), internet resources and social networks (57%) are the main sources of news for people.
Only 2% of the respondents read the newspaper every day.
The Republic of Armenia newspaper has inadvertently become a wall newspaper, though its purpose is not to spread the news but to act as a cover.
