Physicist by education, journalist by occupation

“There was a time when the elections were like a fraud. It seemed to us that we were doing our civil duty, but it turned out that some of us had already did our duty for us,” said photojournalist Gevorg Ghazaryan.

In his opinion, there was no tension, there were no threats and hot spots in this extraordinary parliamentary election.

Fortunately, journalists and activists did not have to fight against electoral fraud.

“In previous ears, it seemed to us that every day we go to the front where no one will protect our interests and will not understand that violations of the law are being made. And now the attitude towards journalists have changed, the society understands that journalism is a force. And in some cases, that power really does a fantastic job,” said Gevorg.
